Special Election 2026

***Updated: The “Primary” Special Election for Senate District 26 and House District 70 took place on January 6. The results are below. There will be a runoff for the Senate District 26 race.

Election Results:

Wade Dunn and Brad Simon came out on top for the Senate 26 special election race. Neither candidate reached the 51% threshold to win the race. A runoff election for this race will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

The House District 70 race will culminate in a “general special election” on March 3. That race will have Alex Holladay and Bo Renshaw. Alex Holladay won the Democratic “special election primary” on January 6, 2026. See below for their contact information, as both candidates refused to fill out the survey.
